When he’s not moonlighting as a 390 lb. Swedish physicist in low budget horror films, SCOTT AARON STINE can be found sitting at his desk, repeatedly bashing his head against the computer monitor.
He is the author of the books, The Gorehound’s Guide to Splatter Films of the 1960s & 1970s (McFarland Publishing, 2001) and The Gorehound’s Guide to Splatter Films of the 1980s (McFarland Publishing, 2003). Prior to this, he published numerous magazines, including Trashfiend, GICK! and Filthy Habits. He also published and co-authored The Trashfiend’s Guide to Collecting Videotapes (Stigmata Press, 2003).
Under the nom de plume of Reginald Bloom, he has had his fiction published in such periodicals as Lovecraft’s Weird Mysteries and Raw Media, also in e-zines, and in the anthology Cold Flesh (Hellbound Books, 2005).
He has written, performed and produced music for post-industrial rock outfits, instrumental surf bands, hardcore metal groups, and experimental noise projects.
He is also a major collector and dealer of vintage memorabilia, selling through his online business of The Trash Collector. (www.thetrashcollector.com)
